
Viral Control in Enclosed Spaces
A novel approach to public health
The COVID-19 pandemic taught us some hard but valuable lessons about how viruses mutate, how far airborne particles can really travel, and just how limited traditional “safe distances” are in enclosed spaces.
At Vapour Science, we’ve taken these lessons and developed a bold approach to pathogen control one that doesn’t rely on outdated assumptions about droplets or distance, but instead uses a fine, vapourised mist that permeates the space.
A viral shield designed for enclosed spaces, large and small; our solution uses a spatial approach to removing viruses and bacteria, creating an infection free zone in real time against a broad variety of pathogens.

How It Works
Spatial, active, and inspired by nature
Using ultrasonic vapourisation, we disperse natural actives in particles just 2 microns in size, fine enough to behave like a gas. This allows the active ingredients to move through a space and surround airborne viruses, bacteria, and even pest insects.
In partnership with the University of New South Wales, we’ve conducted over five years of testing. The data speaks for itself; the consistent, real-time elimination of lipid-enveloped viruses under laboratory conditions. This includes viruses like SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza pathogens that are notoriously difficult to control once airborne.

The results show that our system appears to eliminate all lipid enveloped viruses and is not strain or virus specific. Dispersing 2-micron active particles via ultrasonic vapourisation, the active particles act like a gas for several minutes, filling and protecting entire spaces.
